Thanks for looking into it.  I did a little more research and it seems 
that there isn't a plug-and-play Postgres variation (on Windows at 
least) of the XAMMP project (http://www.apachefriends.org/en/xampp.html).

That said, I think it may have a small, useful role in the constellation 
of options of how to get folks to test-drive different software 
combinations.
