[postgis-users] Error for decimal number?

Hello,
I'm tryng to do some intersections between different
geometry layers and sometimes I have this error:

NOTICE:  TopologyException: side location conflict
(2.3614e+006,4.85657e+006,4.85657e+006)

ERROR: GEOS Intersection() threw an error!
Stato SQL: XX000

Sometimes I avoid this error changing the number of
decimal numbers, but sometimes this doesn't resolve
the problem?
Anyone knows what could be?
