Hi Doug,

As Desktop-Client for PostGIS - besides QGIS and UDIG - you can try:

- OpenJUMP(http://www.openjump.org) with the SISDB-Plugin (for improved
PostGIS-connections), thematic mapping (without the natural breaks routine)
- Kosmo (http://saig.es/en/index.php) , thematic mapping (without the
natural breaks routine)
- gvSIG (http://www.gvsig.gva.es), thematic mapping with support of
natural breaks (the support for postgis-geometry-types is constrained =>
editing postgis-tables can be annoying)
- Spatial Commander (http://www.gdv.com/down/scommander.php) NON-OSS,
!only in GERMAN!, thematic mapping with support of natural breaks
(editing with postgis-tables can also be difficult)
- Thuban (http://thuban.intevation.org), thematic mapping without
natural breaks, but other possibilities

regards,
Johannes
