[postgis-users] the_geom is empty

Sometimes, the geometry column does not show anything but that does not necessarily means it is empty.

Did you try a simple request like select st_isclosed(the_geom) from yourtable or try to load your geometries with openjump.

Hi people, i mounted a shapefile and in the geoserver side dont show  
the map and it says "error: geometry contains non-closed rings" and i  
found that there is a row in the table of the mounted shapefile that  
has no data in the_geom column, how would i get this solved, thanks
