[postgis-users] How to connect to MapServer with an HTTPS protocol

Mathias,

I think as others have mentioned, to use https you need a SSL certificate.

If per chance you are using IIS, I use this letsencrypt tool for assigning certificates.  Works great and automatically renews itself using the built in windows scheduler.

Binaries available as part of the releases on this page -- https://github.com/win-acme/win-acme/releases

For IIS on an x64 system, I used the zip marked win-acme....x64.pluggable.zip and then run the wacs.exe (make sure to Run as Administrator)  to install the certs for the sites you need.
