[Pywps-dev] bonn workshop - pywps-demo back to work

Hi again,
I have the following set up running:
pywps: 4-beta1
pywps-demo: Jachym's fork
interpreter: python3
I was not able to get it running with Python2, but I am not so worried with it. We just have to make sure everyone uses Python3.
I will do more testing tomorrow and then we could merge the demo project.
Cheers,
Luís

Ok, I'll try that one. I tried the pywps-demo from the geopython organisation this morning and it is not working.
One thing that bothers me: if something goes wrong before Flask is up there is no way to tell what is happening (except debugging). The other day I had a messed up GDAL version and the demo application would simply fail without logging anything or issuing exceptions....

Luis,
I'm working on this in jachym/pywps-4-demo and jachym/PyWPS branches 122_documentation, if you come to it,before I merge
looking forward to your feedback, let me know, once you have time to dig into this

Hi everyone,
I have not found the time yet to look into this. I suggest you merge what have now. I will look into it the next few days.
Cheers,
Luís

Hi all (and especially Luis),
I've started to dig into our documentation again [1], so we could be ready for the Bonn workshop [2].
Meanwhile, I've done two biggest changes:
1 - enabled relative directories for outputs and workdir from the configuration
2 - significantly simplified demo.py in pywps-demo - now it really seems to be working
I've created pull request for the demo - what do you think about it [3]?
Jachym
P.S. I'm counting with the work from Jan Rudolf for the REST API, therefore I removed all the related work from demo.py too
