ok, here are some suggestions from me:

yes

I guess here you mean vector diagram overlay and yes, this is really a new
feature and I think we have to mention it in 1.1 and 4 and describe it in
section 5 as a new/extra subsection. This would be Claudia.

> - advanced printing

I think advanced printing includes (compaired to 1.0) that we now can create a
template and there is a new button to "align selected items left". I think we
(Werner) should describe this in section "Print Composer". I don't think this
has to be mentioned extra in the chapter "1.1. features" and 4 "Features at a
glance". But would be ok of course if you want!

The idea originally was that section 1.1 is supposed to be a very very rough
overview and even 4 shall be something like an overview and after that we
really start to describe all functionalities in detail beginning with section 5.

> - handling of postgis tables

Here the same, unless the changes are very important. Otherwise it should be
described in section 5.2 "PostGIS layers". This is Claudia's part. I don't think
this has to be mentioned extra in chapter "1.1. features" and 4 "Features at
a glance" BTW: I don't know what the improvements of the handling of postgis
tables exactly are. Carson or Jürgen - do you know more and give Claudia a hint?

> - support to all OGR formats in Open Vector dialog

And here again :). I think Claudia should write about that in section 5
"Working with vector data" and we don't have to put that into chapter "1.1.
features" and 4 "Features at a glance".

> - attribute table improvements

I also don't think it has to be part of 1.1 and 4 but definitely in the vector
part again. mmhh ... but where? Maybe we add new subsubsection to subsection 5.4
Editing about "Working with the attribute table" ? And again, this is Claudia
:(. I guess we should help her with that section!

> - proxy table info

This could be a short note in 1.1 "publish maps on the internet" and should
then be decribed in section 7 "Working with OGC data" by Stephan.

> - save as georeferenced image

yes, maybe in 1.1 but definitely in section 4.6 "Output"

> any further hint?

yes, the support of SpatiaLite Layers should be added to 1.1 and in 4 and we
need to describe it in section 5 (Claudia :)). Or do we have to add a new
section (latex file?) for the SpatiaLite support?

yes, but better you send the patches directly to Carson or me, because the limit
for attachments is pretty low on the lists (40kb?). We can commit your text
then.

@Claudia: Sorry - but before this email when I split the manual into sections I
wasn't aware that so many new features have to be updated in Section 5 "Working
with vector data" for this release. I would suggest you tell us, what of the
topics above you would like to or can do and then we share the rest. I will have
some time to help.
