AW: [Qgis-developer] Support for SpatiaLite?

Hi all,

It would really be great to have support for SpatiaLite in QGIS! It may not be necessary to create a new branch for the work, as providers are completely separate modules. And possible dialogs could be developed as a plugin first. So it would be sufficient if Alessandro provides a link to the provider/plugin sources for testing.
Alessandro, if you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask on the list.

This is really a question for Alessandro Furieri, the dev of SL. I know
he's already busy with this, but he could possibly profit from feedback.
I think a SpatiaLite provider would be a great addition for QGIS,
solving a long-standing limitation, so if Alessandro agrees I think it
would be good to have the development happen straight into the qgis svn,
possibly in a separate branch.
