[Qgis-developer] Distance function between point and polygon/line features

Hi Francesco,

In the Linear Reference plugin [1] (by Martin Dobias for Faunalia) I see
this kind of functions on geom.py file. There is Point and Line classes with
some useful methods. I think it can help you.
