i'm having kind of the same problem that Giovanni had;

But i cleaned out my system, reinstalled everthing but the problem persists!
>From what i understand it has something to do with the system variables or
the Renviron.site file, but i changed and mess with it and solved the
problem from the other packages with the exception of rgdal and rggobi.

If someone could lend any help...thx in advance
