[Qgis-developer] Comments in provider header file

Hi,
am I right that repeating - copying comments of reimplemented virtual
methods in data provider header file is not desired? Currently it is
common practice to do that, but once I have heard somewhere, that
duplicating data is not the best practice...

Is it possible in docs to get description from parent class virtual
method comments if a method is not described in child? At this moment
providers are not included in docs
(http://doc.qgis.org/head/classes.html) but they could be in future.
