Thanks for information, great that You solved GIL issues. On the other
hand, I see Python plugins as killer feature in QGIS, so any un-user
friendly breakage there is really bad idea, even if it will move on
development.
I think keeping big features like threading for version 1.9-2.0 with
long testing period will bring better light on QGIS project than
featurefull, but problematic version now.
