[Qgis-developer] SpatiaLite very slow with QGIS 1.7

I have the problem with your QGIS v.1.7 r15108 dev build from Jan. 30 which uses QT 4.6.3. Since your QGIS 1.6 build of Jan. 29 also uses QT 4.6.3 and the same frameworks, doesn't that indicate it is not a QT problem?
Also, it would appear that the Identify tool problem is not a QT problem since it does not work with either QGIS 1.7 QT 4.7.2 or 4.6.3 and QGIS 1.6 QT 4.6.3 all using the SQLite framework with SQLite 3.7.4 and SpatiaLite 2.4.0 RC4. Since installing the older SQLite3_Framework-3.6.23-1.dmg fixes the Identify Tool and selection problem, this would indicate a problem with the SQLite3_Framework-3.7.4-2.dmg. However, this does not fix the slow load and quite times with QGIS 1.7. I tried building QGIS 1.7 against SQLite3_Framework-3.6.23-1 and the build failed, so I am concerned what side effects installing it may have.
I will pull comments from both threads and create bug reports for both problems later today.
