+1 from me on this if it's possible.. I always see the "create Location" 
as the big "entry point problem" for GRASS.

I've seen it several times from friends that they are mostly not willing 
to read some manuals - everyone wants that it just works .. (Don't blame 
me for that - I am just telling what I have seen).
It would be nice to have GRASS tools integrated in a way that you don't 
have to deal with locations.. And there will always be the option to 
switch to GRASS if you have to dig deeper .. :)
