Hi Larry,

The latest QGIS Mobile SoC is using Qt QML as UI for QGIS Mobile.

Probably, you can hack this code and run native in Qt5 QML in Ubuntu
Tablet (Nexus 10).

Ubuntu Tablet Mir (new replacement of X-server in Ubuntu)  is very
friendly with Qt QML.
