I updated so it now reads like this:

# <http://changelog.linfiniti.com/qgis/version/2.8/#231> Feature: Map
rotation in canvas, improved rotation in composer

This release includes preliminary support for rotation in the map canvas.
You can rotate the canvas using the new rotation widget in the status bar.
Rotation support has been extended into the map composer too so that it
correctly handles labelling and symbology, etc.

This feature was funded by: Georepublic Japan <http://georepublic.co.jp/>
This feature was developed by: Faunalia <http://www.faunalia.eu/>

I based that on your recommendation on IRC when I mentioned my labels were
not showing when rotating an existing project (created with an older
version of QGIS).
