Honestly, I am afraid to install.  I want to avoid hunting
files here and there when it comes to remove it.

I'll try to symlink.  Thank you, Nikos

ps- kind of a "to self" note: I should write an ebuild for this
(Funtoo-Linux user here), but I cannot afford to do so right now.
