Do we really need to have it? Shouldn't we deprecate it? I think it
confuses the users, and at least on windows it is pointless to support it.

Sorry I was unclear: grass help is there. However, in the man pages
there are many links to further documentation (very useful stuff for
professional work), that used to be working, but now are clickable but
apparently go nowhere (do not open a browser, nor a page).

One more issue:

* creating slope and other rasters from the exercise
https://github.com/qgis/QGIS-Documentation/tree/master/source/docs/training_manual/exercise_data/processing/more_backends
results in a custom projection (10921 or something similar) on Windows,
whereas it's the correct 3003 on Debian. I recall an old problem, that
was fixed - any explanation why it resurfaced?

I suppose this one is for Juergen, I repeat there for completeness:
