Great news! So it seems we only have a few things left:

As far as I understand, it's almost done

Doesn't actually block the release, just would be nice to have it in 3.0

Under active discussion, not really voted yet

Just a proposal, not sure if anyone is working on it, doesn't seem to be a 
blocker (just an extremely nice addition for 3.0).
