tr() means: translate.

Yes I agree.
That's the way it's done in WFS (and vector data providers) but
unfortunately not (yet) in WMS (raster based providers). The proposal in
my previous email should fix that. (`QVariantMap metadata()` etc.), it
just needs someone to take care of this.
