+1 from me, also because "Singlepart to Multipart" means literally that.

It probably doesn't have any meaning - but is that a problem? You'd
only be using this algorithm if you had a particular requirement for
it (e.g. preparing a result for upload into a PostGIS table which
requires multi geometry types).
