Not responsible for them, but they may make an existing issue more
frequent by stress-testing how thread safe different code paths are.
That's why a few months back the decision was made to leave the
preview jobs as resource demanding to try and expose these issues.

But now that we're closing in on release I agree that we need to
ensure that there's no performance regressions caused by these jobs.
