[QGIS-Developer] Processing "Create layer from extent" missing output

Hi devs,

I'm testing Processing in QGIS master. The algorithm "Create layer from
extent" has perfect sense when used into a model, but when used as
standalone no outputs are created.

Or better, the output pretends to be a polygon layer but nothing is
shown in the map (attribute table contains correctly 1 feature).

Is this the expected behavior or the output must be a polygon?
