[QGIS-Developer] Custom python expressions in QGIS Server

Hi all,
Was playing around with the custom python expressions which are super cool and I noticed they don't propagate in QGIS Server and maybe I'm doing something wrong (I only tried copying the .py files to the equivalent directory). Anyone has a clue if this should work and if it's not implemented already, how big the effort would be?Should I open a feature request ticket?
