[QGIS-Developer] plugin causes 2.99 to crash - help?

Hello all

I've narrowed down the qgis2web QGIS3 crash further:

- QGIS crashes if the plugin dialog is closed when a Leaflet preview *is
currently visible*

- QGIS does not crash if the plugin dialog is closed when a Leaflet preview
is not currently visible, *even if a Leaflet preview has been triggered
while the dialog is open*

So it's not the Leaflet preview itself which causes the crash, but closing
an "open" Leaflet preview.

Can anyone help? I still don't know why this is happening.
