[QGIS-Developer] Qgis has just vanished

Are you using Ubuntugis repository with Qgis. There can be issues if 
Ubuntugis updates its packages out of sequence with the Qgis release, 
because Ubuntugis is a separate project from Qgis and they don't 
synchronise releases.
