Hi Dev's may I draw you attention to:

which make it (at least on Linux and Windows) impossible to browse '/'
or 'c:\' or 'd:\' in the browser panel.

Would not be cool to release 3.12/3.10LTR which such an issue :-(

I had a short look into it (see my comment in #34414 but am unsure on
how to proceed...)
