Hi,

I'm attempting to implement a updateDataSourceUriItems auth handler for AWS S3 based authentication

Details here:
https://github.com/qgis/QGIS/issues/53637

I think I'm misunderstanding when and how this method called when used with the GDAL raster provider, is there an example of how to set it up in python with basic http authentication?

Can anyone shed some light on this??
