[QGIS-Developer] Process for approval of newly posted QGIS plugins

Greetings,

 

There’s a lot of information and guidance around building and publishing a new QGIS plugin. 

But what appears to be lacking is some information on who is responsible for approving a newly posted plugin.

It is may understanding that newly posted plugins first need to be approved before they become visible to the community.

 

But it isn’t clear how this process is being managed:

*	Is there a focal point, taking care of approvals ?
*	What requirements does a new plugin have to fulfill ?
*	How long does this process take to be completed ?

 

I hope that someone can advise here.
