I don’t think it matters too much if it is 5 months - we don’t always manage to space the meetings out exactly 6 months apart...

Yeah so it would be important to have a ‘champion’ to help organise things. I think we can probably expect ±100 to ±200 people so it would take some organising and the time to the event is not to long. I think if we cannot find a champion (like Lene was for Nødebo) we should rather thing about leaving out the user conference part (which would be a pity).

Thanks so much for your quick answer Luigi (and sorry for my slow one!). Luis could you give some indication as to whether hosting a QGIS user conference is something you would be interested and willing to do? If not I think we will start advertising for other potential venues.
