Not sure if others read, but strange things happen with Freenode IRC provider where QGIS has the #qgis channel.

My hackerspace moved to libra.chat others to oftc.net

Myself I'm totally not in IRC admin stuff (to make a move IF others agree), but I probably leave freenode personally.

But I would be fine to now conclude to go to a Matrix channel (https://matrix.osgeo.org or https://matrix.org/ itself)

Opinions?
