[qgis-qwc2] R: R: Issue displaying WMS service in QWC2

My problem is displaying a WMS layer using the QWC2 library.
After several attempts, I added an externalLayer entry in the themes.json file as shown below.

In the items section, I also included a line with the name of the layer to be replaced from the wms in the .qgz file exported from QGIS.

I'm not sure if this is the correct configuration, but it appears to be working. Could you kindly provide some feedback?

My only remaining question is how to display external WMS services that require basic authentication.
Is there a way to set the username and password for such services?

I believe your first email was not delivered to the mailing list for some reason, or at least I don't see it.

In any case concerning your quesition: is your problem that you can't configure the theme for the QGIS project which includes the WMS layer?

Dear QWC2 Team,
I am encountering an issue while testing your library, specifically with displaying a WMS service in QWC2.

  1.  When I load the WMS service directly into QGIS (version 3.34.15), the layer displays correctly.
  2.  The layer is also visible without issues when using the "Import Layer" function in QWC2.

However, when I try to convert the .qgz file using themesConfig via package.json for the online visualization of the layer, I always receive the following error: <ServerException>Layer(s) not valid</ServerException>
Do you have any idea what might be causing this issue, or how I can resolve it?

Sehr geehrtes QWC2 Team,
bei der Verwendung Ihrer Bibliothek stoße ich auf ein Problem mit der Darstellung eines WMS-Dienstes in QWC2.

  1.  Wenn ich den WMS-Dienst direkt in QGIS (Version 3.34.15) lade, wird der Layer korrekt angezeigt.
  2.  Auch über die Funktion „Layer importieren“ in QWC2 ist der Layer ohne Probleme sichtbar.

Wenn ich jedoch versuche, die .qgz-Datei über themesConfig in package.json für die Online-Darstellung des Layers zu konvertieren, erhalte ich stets folgenden Fehler: <ServerException>Layer(s) not valid</ServerException>
Haben Sie eine Idee, woran das liegen könnte, oder wie ich das Problem beheben kann?
