Dear all

Here I would like to translate QGIS into our Local Language (i.e. TELUGU, Andhra Pradesh, India ).

For this I  can work in either windows or Linux (ubuntu) OS or both. 


In this regard I have followed steps mentioned under URL: http://qgis.org/en/site/getinvolved/translate.html
I have installed "QtLinguist-4.6.0-Win32-Installer" and downloaded qgis_te.ts then attempted to translate Source text from English to Telugu

Here let me know.,  
How could I directly enter TELUGU words  in TELUGU Translation box without pasting them from somewhere.

As it is the first time to me, I wish to translate/edit only MENU BAR (File, Edit, View, ....) list of options. 

Please suggest me to do so.
