 attached vector over and over almost without any problem. I got a crash
 but it was one among tens of attempts...

 but yet it seems fragile. After having imported the attached vector it
 crashed the first time I attempted a dissolve operation with v.dissolve. I
 made further attempts and no crashes.

 By the way as for v.in.ogr when it crashes it does after having completed
 correctly the operation.
