[Qgis-user] reading projects from Windows XP and Linux

Dear Listers,

I use a double boot (Windows/Ubuntu Hardy) laptop and, before Quantum 
0.11.0 Metis, was capable to read saved QGIS projects from both 
plateforms, wherever it was created. Since the Metis version the 
projects seem to be no longer compatible (e.g. when created under 
Ubuntu, cannot be read under Windows).

Moerover attribute tables seem not to be read properly from one system 
to the other (e.g. accent characters are not well read, probably because 
UTF-8 coding is by defaut on Ubuntu but not on Windows).

Has anybody met this problem ? Any possibility no get everything back to 
"full compatibility" ?
