[Qgis-user] QGIS 2.0 Postgres Connection Problem?

I was able to connect to a Postgres database in v1.9, but am getting an error in version 2.0.
When I submit the connection details I get ERROR: service file "/etc/pg_service.conf" not found
I can confirm that this file does not seem to exist on my PC, I didn't have a problem with this in 1.9.

Has anyone seen this and managed to get around the problem?
