Thank you for the suggestion. I tried this already.

If I enter only
[IP]:11188/mapviewer/wms

QGIS than changes it into

/

Did you try to omit the inital http:// and only enter [IP]:11188/mapviewer/wms

I would try if it works by checking "Ignore GetMap URL reported in capabilities" from the connection details of that WMS server.
