[Qgis-user] Implement QGIS source

I think it refers to run make install script which allows to deploy QGIS on your machine.
This is how I used to do in Linux.

If you want your QGIS in a windows machine why don`t use QGIS installers.

Hi,

I have compiled QGIS open source in visual studio 2013. But I am getting more errors and also I am not getting the meaning of the following sentence found in your help file (under section 4.1.3. Setting up the Visual Studio project with CMake).


After the build completed you should install QGIS using the INSTALL target.

Install QGIS by building the INSTALL project. By default this will install to c:\Program Files\qgis<version> (this can be changed by changing the CMAKE_INSTALL_PREFIX variable in cmake-gui).
