[Qgis-user] QGIS is Awesome

 I have QGIS set up on my laptop with cached maps and hill shaded lidar
data sets for archaeological exploration. I wanted the ability to know my
location so I purchased the GlobalSat BU-353-S4 USB GPS Receiver not
knowing for sure how or if it would work with QGIS.

It worked like a charm right out of the box and QGIS automatically
recognized it and works beautifully with it. I was pleased to see that it
can snapshot locations and produce tracks.
