[Qgis-user] QGIS and ESRI's ArcMAp

That will vary on what level of licensing you have for ArcGIS. If you are on a Basic license then you will probably find QGIS will fill in quite a lot of gaps in your functionality. Off the top of my head these would include Erase / Difference geoprocessing and some proximity analysis.
It will also vary accoring to any extensions you have licensed in Arc - so any route networking will be available (in QGIS if you have plugins and suitable data)) whereas in Arc you would need the Network Anlayst extentsion. Any raster analysis is available in QGIS, but requires Spatial Analyst extension in Arc...
