[Qgis-user] Generating QGIS Composer Layout/Report using Processing Plugin

Hi everyone, nice to meet you.

I’ve been playing with QGIS Processing plugin lately. There are some questions I want to ask regarding the potential usage of QGIS Processing to generate PDF report/maps. Please point on direction or answer regarding this.


Environment: QGIS Nightly build (3.9 currently)

Questions:
1. Is it possible to make a model where we do certain processing to the maps and also generate PDF map/report in one model executions? It means, if we click “execute model” we will have the output layer, and the PDF report generated in some directory.
2. If case no. 1 is possible, how do we feed intermediate layer inside the model (or the output layer of the model) to the QGIS template, so the map can include this layer in the PDF output?
3. In the “Cartography” category, I did notice there is algorithm called “Print layout map extent to layer”. But I realized this is only works for Layout template. Does similar thing available for Report template?
4. Can we access variables/values defined from Model Input inside QGIS Expression field?
