[Qgis-user] export to dxf problem

This is normal, the crs is not save in dxf.  Is the crs in longitude and latitude (degrees) or in meters? If it is in long lat, that may cause additional problems.  Reproject and save it in QGIS in a local utm zone in meter and see what happens in the cad.

What CAD are you using? Try DraftSight.  It is free in 2D but not OpenSource. Did you find a zoom to layer function in the CAD. It is very hard to find the lines manually.
