[Qgis-user] Map contest: mapping Pi for the 3.14 splash screen

Hi Anita,

Great challenge for the (boring!) weekend. :)

Could you provide some guidelines for submissions?

I tried to find the image dimensions and came to 600x300 px, but that is
the splash screen size for the dev version. The 3.12 splash screen is
1977x946 px.

Can colours be used or should it be gray scale and made green in the
style of the other 3.x splash screens?

In the announcement of the 3.12 splash screen you refer to the GIMP file
in the "QGIS graphics folder on Google Drive" but I don't have a link.
Could you share it, or share the GIMP file in another way?

Shouldn't the submission form contain a checkbox for sharing the image
as GPL2 or something else to make sure it does not contain copyrighted
material and QGIS can use it?

And wondering, will we go for "Pi" or "π" (the Greek character, I'm not
even sure the email software will show this correctly...) :)

Thanks and have a nice weekend!

Raymond
