Hi,
I have a MariaDB-Database-Table with GPS-Points (from Phonetrack) an
want to visualize them in QGIS.
I imported the table with a dataset-connection to MariaDB and I see the
plain text data.
After that I created a virtual point layer by using make_point from lat
and lon.
I can see the points on map but they are in the middle of the ocean next
to south africa and not all over europe.
I tried different CRS (project crs is 3857 (I do have some other layers
in this projects with i.e. online routing tool, or other point layers.
But I can not achieve to move the coords/points to correct position -
all other layers are right.
Any ideas?
Regards
PS: In generell, which is the "best" CRS for handling with GPS-Coords
like saved by phonetrack (exported to GPX) or by i.e. Android GPStracker
(exported as GPX)?
