[Qgis-user] Multiple MSSQL threads

Happy Friday,
We are running into a new issue where QGIS is spawning a new MSSQL thread
for every db transaction, and not closing old threads that have completed
their task. The connections do close when Q is closed. The closest issue we
can find is this one provided below, however there has been no movement on
it for some time. Are others having this issue, and is there any known
resolution?
