[Qgis-user] The Split Features tool is not working...

Hi,
I guess default is to split the shapes into multipart objects. You can then used the multi part to single parts tools. That will split the geometries and create new lines in the database. Always check for topology errors before and after using such tools. The “Fix geometry” tool is good for this sort of thing if you find errors.
