 Maybe I was unclear. There are no problems with registering subdomain in
 org.ua zone, so final domain will be osgeo.org.ua not org.ua.

 cost. If you want to register a new domain then osgeo.ua seems the likely
 candidate. If you want osgeo.org.ua I think that might be handled by your
 chapter as it appears that one must register via org.ua website or another
 Ukraine based registrar. Since no on SAC speaks Ukrainian it might be
 technically best for you to handle it.

 Regarding osgeo.ua domain. Under current
 [https://hostmaster.ua/policy/Policy_UA_en-w2.htm .UA domain Policy],
 domain names like name.ua are delegated only to proper owners of
 trademarks.

 Unfortunately there is no local chapter here in Ukraine.

 We planned to use this domain for all activities around OSGeo, not only
 for lab. Here is how we planned to use it: osgeo.org.ua — for local
 chapter (in future), lab.osgeo.org.ua — for lab, maybe other subdomains
 for other activities.

 Unfortunately we have very limited resources now and can't establish local
 chapter, so seems it is better for us to register another domain
 exclusively for lab, e.g. osgeo-lab.org.ua. Any objections?
