[SoC] GSoC 2016: Weekly report 2

Hi all, Apologies for such a late submission. I will make sure that I
submit all my reports in time from the next time and will submit it on
Thursdays itself if I have any plans for the weekend.

Also, as Jachym, Jonas and others have suggested I will create a new branch
and commit the changes and document the steps required to test my work so
far. I will write a new mail once am done with it so that you can give it a
