[SoC] Is this a valid project idea?

Dear bobb,

I'm not sure I fully understand your idea, as I lack a bit of context.
However, the gsoc implies coding. If the project you have in mind doesn't
include coding, but rather outreach, documentation, etc., or the coding
part is really small, it seems to me more suitable for a Code-in task [1]
(or more tasks), which this year for the first time we plan to apply for.
Please let us know more.
