[OSGeo-Standards] OGC at FOSS4G 2008

Yes, we really weren't geared up for a proper integration showcase. The 'ongoing' one that 2009 is planning sounds like the right approach.

Raj, we talked about you doing some demo theatre slots and a lightning talk? Could you confirm with Tim (cc'd). See the demo page developing here: http://wiki.osgeo.org/wiki/FOSS4G2008_Demos

What platform are you going to use to release WFS Simple? A demo perhaps?

And how do you plan to get the message across about the OSGeo-OGC agreement?

As an update to this discussion, it seems like we've all been busy and
will not have a "big" integration showcase. While there is always a
ton of OGC-related content at FOSS4G, the activities I'll be directly
involved in are:

- WMS Tiling BoF, just scheduled for Wednesday at 15:30
- WFS Simple (http://www.ogcnetwork.net/wfssimple) implementation
release (lean, mean, and open source)
